Allens Training Pty Ltd (Registered Training Organisation #90909) has developed a new concept, which means a fairer system for its partners (independent contractors - Click here to download more information) and employee instructors, allowing you to make more money while teaching our accredited courses.
There are several compulsory steps (Click here to download checklist) to becoming an instructor with our company. These are as follows (please click on the links to download relevant documents) -
STEP 1 - Complete the Online Application form by clicking the button below
STEP 2 - A brief resume that must include names and telephone numbers of people we can call to verify your work/industry experience relevant to the courses you wish to teach
STEP 3 - Copy of your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment signed by a Justice of the Peace (JP) must be an original JP signature.
STEP 4 - Copies of certificates of qualifications you wish to teach signed by a Justice of the Peace (JP) must be an original JP signature.
STEP 5 - Copies of my 100 points of ID (Click here to download) signed by a Justice of the Peace (JP). Please also include a wallet sized photo so that we can issue you with your instructor identification. This is a compulsory requirement of your application.
STEP 6 - Complete and sign the Working with Children Check (Click here to download) documents (NSW only)
STEP 7 - Completed Memorandum of Understanding (Partner agreement for independent contractors only) - Please refer to MOU section of the online application form for more information.
STEP 8 - If you wish your logo to be included on your certificates please forward us a letter of authorisation on your company letterhead, along with your logo in electronic JPEG format. This can be emailed to kristie@allenstraining.com.au or sent on a disk.
Step 9 - A copy of any advertising associated with courses run under the auspices of Allens Training or have confirmed that no advertising will be done.
Step 10 - A copy of a letter of currency regarding your public liability from your insurer for sites used to conduct Allens Courses not owned by Allens training
Once we have received all of the above criteria an Allens Training representative will be in contact with you to finalise the application process.
Advertising - Once approved to deliver Allens Courses, you are required to comply with the Allens Training advertising policy and procedures as described in the Memorandum of understanding. This requires you to submit for approval, all forms of advertising that includes references to courses conducted under the auspices of Allens Training, prior to its use. Any information included about courses conducted under the auspices of Allens Training must include the appropriate course code and must reflect the information that we include on our website for these courses (please click here for further course information). If the advertising relates to the Instructor profile on Allens website, any reference to courses conducted that are not done under the auspices of Allens Training will need to be referred to separately and clearly described as not being conducted as part or the arrangement with Allens.
Induction Process - Once you are an approved Instructor, you will be granted access to the instructors area and will be required to complete the Allens on line induction program within 14 days of joining Allens. If you have not recieved your logon user name and password or are not sure whether you have the correct details please check with the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director by emailing kristie@allenstraining.com.au
Instructor Profile - As part of our team you will be given the opportunity to create an a profile to advertise your business through our instructor search engine. This is a free service that we offer as a means of supporting our partners. You will be able to generate your profile through your account settings once you have been given access to the website. By adding a profile you are also increasing the number of external links to your website and therefore increasing your search engine optimisation. In return we hope that you will place a link on your website back to your instructor profile to help us with our search engine optimisation.
