the number and composition of people in the workplace
Once a comprehensive risk assessment has been conducted the results will help you decide what first aid kits and other steps you will need.

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are a vital piece of equipment in the treatment of heart-related emergencies, most commonly a cardiac arrest. AEDs are becoming more common in workplaces and public places.
AEDs are now commonplace. Often seen in foyers of community centres, near the evacuation plan in business premises, in the office or staff room at schools, behind the bar or in function rooms at sports clubs, on the wall in your gym, at libraries, and centrally located near toilet aisles, cinemas or information desks in shopping centres and airports.
