Course Description

The unit UETDRMP007 – Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel – equips individuals with the skills and knowledge required to safely rescue a person in contact with live low voltage electrical equipment. This unit is essential for workers in the electrical industry, including electricians, maintenance personnel, and supervisors who may need to respond to electrical incidents in environments such as construction sites, industrial facilities, or utility services.

Throughout the course, participants will learn how to assess and manage emergency situations involving live low-voltage panels. The training covers the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), isolating electrical hazards, and applying safe rescue techniques to remove the injured person from danger. Participants will also learn how to administer basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) if required, ensuring that proper care is provided until emergency services arrive.
