Allens Training, are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences to our students. As a qualified Trainer, you will have the opportunity to be the front face and support students with their learning, utilising quality training resources and current online technologies to deliver and assess students understanding and competency. Allens Training has national contracts and utilize a large resource pool of experienced trainers to deliver regular courses throughout Australia

What is a Partner?
- A Partner owns and manages the day-to-day operations of their business. They have an agreement with Allens Training as the Registered Training Organisation
- Many of our Partners also deliver training
- A Partner is responsible for the students and ensures a Trainer is prepared and able to deliver courses as required
- A Partner is responsible for payment of the Trainer’s time
- Partners are responsible to ensure Trainers have access to the required course equipment before a course is delivered
- Allens Training have hundreds of Partners throughout Australia
What is a Trainer?
- A Trainer works on behalf of a Partner/s and is scheduled to deliver courses
- Many Trainers work for a number of our Partners in an area- when available
- Contract Trainers negotiate a rate of pay for their time in training
- The majority of Trainers utilise Training Desk (our online system) to process the course for the students to meet competency and receive their certificate
- For each course delivered student feedback is sought based on their experience
- All Trainers are approved by Allens Training before they can deliver courses
- Trainers receive complimentary Professional Development opportunities to ensure they remain up-to-date with their knowledge and skills
What Do I Need To Be A Trainer?
ASQA (the National Regulator) set the Standards for Registered Training Organisations and requires trainers to have:
- The vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or
- TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and
- TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or
- Diploma or higher level qualifications in adult education
