The unit SISSSCO015 – Prepare Participants for Sports Competition – equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to effectively prepare athletes or teams for competitive sports events. This course can be delivered/assessed fully online, in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

An individual enrolling in this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd must demonstrate the following criteria to be eligible for entry:

  • The unit requires foundational skills such as reading, oral communication, numeracy, problem-solving, and self-management. 

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 4 Hours
Online with face-to-face assessment Face to Face contact time of at least 1 Hour
Fully Online - It is expected students may complete the course within 4 hours (depending on experience levels) This can be completed over a number of sessions. Your course progress will be saved.

Students studying fully online are expected to complete all learning and assessment activities within six (6) months of enrolment. Failure to complete all requirements may result in your enrolment being disabled/cancelled.

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. These are detailed in the Assessment Activities section.
