The Non-Accredited Sports Trainer Refresher Course provides essential ongoing training for individuals who already have experience as sports trainers and wish to refresh their knowledge and skills. This course can be delivered/assessed fully online, in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.
Entry Requirements
An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
- Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills
- Wearing appropriate attire to allow demonstration of different taping techniques
Online study options: students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online studies.
Course Durations
Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.
Students completing fully online are expected to complete all learning and assessment activities within six (6) months of enrolment. Failure to complete all requirements may result in your enrolment being disabled/cancelled.
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Assessments conducted during face-to-face training session(s) include:
Performance Task – Students will demonstrate three of the below:
- Finger Taping
- Thumb Taping
- Elbow Taping
- Ankle Taping
- Knee Taping
- Achillies Tendon Taping
Theory assessment - A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice questions.
For fully online delivery option
This course requires the student to submit 3 videos demonstrating the correct taping technique for
