A Brand Built on a Real Story: Rachel Wins the Branding and Marketing Presence Award

Rachel

Some brands are built in a boardroom. Rachel's was built through lived experience — and it's that honesty that has earned The Educators Well the Branding and Marketing Presence Award, just two months after opening its doors.

After a workplace accident in October 2024 made it impossible to reopen her Family Day Care service, Rachel found a new path forward. Becoming an Allens Training first aid trainer gave her a platform to start again — and to launch something bigger alongside it.

"It would have been easy to walk away from the sector altogether," Rachel said. "Instead, becoming an Allens Training first aid trainer gave me a platform to start delivering first aid and launch The WELL Framework alongside it."

A story, not a strategy

Rachel's branding didn't come from a marketing playbook. It came from years of conversations with educators about burnout, and a simple observation: early childhood education builds villages for children, but rarely builds one for the educators themselves. That idea sits behind everything — The WELL Framework, The WELL Village, Connect Pods, and the way Rachel talks about first aid training itself.

That authenticity shows up in her delivery too. Learn Lead Respond lets Family Day Care educators complete first aid training in their own environment, children included. ESL classes and one-on-one sessions mean people who don't feel confident in a big group course still get the chance to learn.

Results that speak for themselves

The numbers back it up. Rachel's newly launched WELL Framework program — a 16-week course capped at 30 students — already has a waitlist of 138 people. Around the community, recognition has followed: "Oh, you're the first aid lady." "Oh, you help educators." From branded jumpers to a car sticker, Rachel's presence is unmistakably her own.

"I'm not positioning myself as an expert looking down at the sector," she said. "I'm someone with almost 20 years of lived experience... sharing what's actually helped."

Advice for other partners

Rachel's message to fellow partners is simple: look closely at what your community actually needs, and build from there. And make the most of what Allens Training offers.

"They want to help, and they want to do everything in their power to help you succeed," she said. "That's why I went with them, because what they offer is what I want to offer."

Congratulations to Rachel and The Educators Well on a truly inspiring start.
