Course Description

The unit MSMPER200 – Work in Accordance with an Issued Permit – equips students with the skills and knowledge to work safely under the conditions of a permit system. This unit is essential for industries such as construction, manufacturing, and mining, where specific permits are required to perform high-risk tasks, such as confined space entry, hot work, or working at heights.

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 4 Hours

An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to be able to demonstrate the demands of the practical demonstrations of the course including wearing and working in all relevant personal protective equipment.

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

This certificate does not require renewal

Assessments conducted during face-to-face training session(s) include:

Practical scenarios – 

  • Work in accordance with an issued permit

Documentation  Completion of a site-based Risk Assessment, JHA and SWMS Form. Completion of an Entry Permit. Incident reporting form. Attach to the enrolment form. 

Theory assessment  A written exam consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions must be completed at the end of the training session. Students must answer all questions.
