Celebrating Excellence: A Training Wins Business Growth Through Training Award

A Training, led by David Tucker, has been recognised with the Business Growth Through Training Award in the Allens Training Partner Awards — a reflection of how high-quality, industry-relevant education can drive genuine business success.

“For A Training, receiving this award is more than just recognition — it’s confirmation that investing in people creates sustainable business growth,” says David. “Our enrolments, repeat bookings and referrals have all increased because learners know they can access nationally recognised, workplace-relevant training through our partnership with Allens Training.”

Growth Built on Quality and Trust

Since partnering with Allens Training (RTO 90909), A Training has expanded rapidly across Brisbane and broader Queensland. The key has been relevance: delivering practical, compliant courses that employers genuinely need — from First Aid, CPR and LVR to Workplace Health and Safety, Standard 11 mining, and White Card inductions.

“Every new course or delivery option we introduced opened a new market segment,” David explains. “We could support more employers, more industries, and more learners — and that consistent, student-centred training is what allowed us to scale.”

Removing Barriers, Boosting Bookings

To make training easier and more accessible, A Training redesigned its delivery model — adding blended and onsite options, flexible scheduling, and clear pre-course communication. Students know exactly what to bring, what to expect, and how to access their certificates through Allens Training.

“The changes made training easier to book, easier to attend, and easier to recommend,” David notes. “That’s where real growth happens.”

The Power of Partnership

David credits much of A Training’s success to its collaboration with Allens Training.

“Partnering with Allens Training has been a catalyst for our growth. Their framework, support, and compliance systems let us focus on what matters — delivering engaging, high-quality training and building lasting client relationships.”

Advice for Fellow Partners

David’s message to others is clear: leverage the Allens Training network, make training easy to say yes to, and protect quality before chasing volume.

“Growth should be repeatable, not accidental,” he says. “When you focus on people, consistency and quality, everything else follows.”
