LVR CPR Training Courses Sunshine Coast

Low voltage rescue (LVR) training equips participants with the essential skills to safely perform a rescue from a live low-voltage electrical panel and provide basic life support (CPR) until professional medical help arrives. Because an electric shock can quickly lead to cardiac arrest, LVR is often paired with CPR so you can act immediately after the rescue.

Our LVR Training Courses Sunshine Coast options are designed for electricians, apprentices, solar technicians, safety officers and electrical spotters who need practical, compliant training that fits their roster. This Sunshine Coast guide helps you choose the right LVR training course for your needs and book a venue and date that work for you. If your certification has lapsed, don’t worry — we’ll help you get back on site quickly and safely.

Learn essential low-voltage rescue skills with an Allens Training LVR training course. Allens Training has been delivering high-quality live low-voltage rescue training across Australia since 2003. Last year alone, we issued over 29,000 LVR certificates.

Sunshine Coast LVR Training FAQs

Can I complete LVR entirely online?

No. While part of the theory may be done online, the rescue skills and CPR must be assessed face-to-face with practical demonstrations.

If your HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is current, the “LVR Only” option may suffice. If your CPR is due for renewal soon, it may be more efficient to book the combined “LVR & CPR” session so both certifications align.

Your certificate is treated as out-of-date. Book the correct option and refresh as soon as possible — until then you may be restricted from site access or specific tasks.

Check that your training provider issues a Statement of Attainment listing the correct units (e.g., UETDRMP018, HLTAID009/011). Ensure the provider is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Yes. Group bookings are available across the Sunshine Coast and regional QLD. We tailor scenario drills to your site panels, equipment and risk-control procedures.

LVR Only: Short practical session (approx. a few hours).
LVR & CPR: Half-day to one day.
First Aid & LVR: About one day (durations vary by venue and online pre-study component).
