Entry Requirements
Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills.
There are no pre-requisites required for general enrolment into this unit.
However, it is essential that the pre-requisite unit PUAFIR210 Prevent injury is obtained prior to the issuance of this unit to individuals within the fire sector or the units contributing to the attainment of a fire qualification. The fire sector is those sections of government departments, statutory authorities or organisations that have responsibility under jurisdictional arrangements for the delivery of firefighting and fire management services.
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Documentation – Completion of an Equipment Inspection Lists, Equipment Test Results, Equipment Fault Logs, and Equipment Maintenance and Cleaning Log forms.
Theory assessment - A written exam consisting of multiple-choice question and short answer questions to be completed at the end of the training session.
