Entry Requirements
An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
- Industry Experience: It is recommended students are working or have prior experience in the resources, industrial and/or infrastructure industries.
- Physical and Psychological Capability: Students must be physically and mentally capable of performing the practical tasks required for this course.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Students must provide and wear protective footwear/safety shoes and comfortable, practical clothing during practical sessions and assessments.
- Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills (LLN): Students must be able to:
- Read and interpret documentation including legislation, regulations, and workplace procedures.
- Communicate clearly in English, including the correct usage of industry terminology
- Complete workplace forms and reports.
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.
