Entry Requirements
An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
- Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Students must provide and wear protective footwear/safety shoes and comfortable, practical clothing during practical sessions and assessments.
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Assessment Activities
Performance tasks and Practical scenarios:
- Simulated scenario 1 – Provide initial response first aid (Selection of a scenario where the student has no prior knowledge of the casualty’s condition prior to starting treatment)
- Simulated scenario 2 – Provide initial response first aid
Documentation – Complete the first aid kit content checklist and an Incident Report Form.
Theory assessment – A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions.
